United States Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell stated on Thursday that it is too early to make a judgment on the effect of the policies of President-elect Donald Trump.

"The job of staff is to go and be very nimble and make assessments in real-time ... Policymakers are gonna wait longer to see what the actual effects will be," Powell explained during a panel organized by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.

While it is certain that policies in "several areas will change" with the arrival of the Trump administration, it is yet to be known how much will change and during what timeframe, he said.
