Nvidia Corporation Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jensen Huang announced on Thursday that the company will exclude China from its earnings forecasts due to the United States' restrictions on semiconductor exports to China.

Asked by CNN's Anna Stewart if he believes the US will discard those limits after a new series of trade negotiations with China, Huang responded that "I'm not counting on it but, if it happens, then it will be a great bonus. I've told all of our investors and shareholders that, going forward, our forecasts will not include the China market."

Previously, Huang warned about the possibility of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. taking advantage of the US's restrictions.
