Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel targeted Iran’s main enrichment facility in Natanz and the country’s ballistic missile program, as well as top nuclear scientists and officials. He alleged that Iran was working on a new plan to destroy Israel after its old plan, its circle of proxies, failed. He called that an intolerable threat that must be stopped.

"We struck at the heart of Iran’s nuclear enrichment program. We targeted Iran’s main enrichment facility in Natanz. We targeted Iran’s leading nuclear scientists working on the nuclear bomb. We also struck at Iran’s ballistic missile program," Netanyahu stated.

The prime minister warned that Iran has "significant capabilities to harm us," but added that the government "prepared for that as well," urging people to cooperate with the Home Front Command's instructions.
