Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk said on Thursday that he expects the first self-delivery of autonomous driving vehicles to be delivered as soon as next month.

"For the past several days, Tesla has been testing self-driving Model Y cars (no one in driver's seat) on Austin public streets with no incidents. A month ahead of schedule," Musk wrote on his X account. "Next month, first self-delivery from factory to customer," Tesla's CEO added, after he previously confirmed in an interview with CNBC that the launch is scheduled for June in Austin, Texas.

Musk also formerly disclosed that the robotaxi network will eventually branch out to Los Angeles, San Antonio and San Francisco.
