Meta unveiled its long-awaited Llama API on Tuesday at its first-ever LlamaCon developer conference. The API offers developers streamlined access to Meta's Llama series of AI models.

According to the presentation, the API supports model fine-tuning, evaluation, and integration via lightweight SDKs. It also includes access to recent models like Llama 4 Maverick and the previously unreleased Llama 3.3 8B.

Meta emphasized that user data processed through the API will not be used to train its models.
