Trump doesn't think trade talk extension necessary

United States President Donald Trump told journalists while attending the premiere of Les Miserables at the Kennedy Center that he would be willing to extend the deadline for trade talks. However, he said he didn't think it would be necessary.

Trump stated that the US was dealing with "Japan and South Korea on trade," adding that in "a week and a half," his administration will "send letters out for countries to take or leave."

Additionally, the president stated that the European Union was willing to negotiate, adding that he will announce if he is satisfied in a week.
