Israel Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said Friday at the Munich Security Conference that the solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict lies in Palestinian autonomy, not full statehood.

He argued that Israel has made significant concessions, including creating the Palestinian Authority and withdrawing from Gaza, but has been met with continued terrorism rather than peace efforts.

Saar emphasized the need for a regional framework while ensuring Israel's security. "We should focus more on regional solutions, but autonomy for Palestinians must not come at the expense of Israel's security," he said.
