Iran hasn't changed nuclear doctrine, official says
Iranian authorities have made no changes to the country's existing nuclear doctrine, based on the views of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Tasnim news agency reported on Monday, citing head of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Akbar Ahmadian.
"Based on the opinion of the Supreme Leader of Iran , no changes have been made to the nuclear doctrine of the Islamic Republic," the media cited Ahmadian as saying.
Following criticism from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors, Iran was reported to engage in nuclear discussions with delegates from France, Germany, and the United Kingdom. The critique was centered on the nation's insufficient cooperation regarding its nuclear activities, including uranium enrichment levels.
