Yemen's Houthi rebel group spokesperson Yahya Saree announced on Monday that the forces launched two drone attacks on Israel, targeting military infrastructure around Ashkelon and Tel Aviv.

According to the spokesperson, the attacks were carried out "successfully." Earlier today, the Israeli military said it shot down a drone that it claimed to belong to the Yemeni rebel group.

Over the weekend, a United States Navy jet was downed over the waters of the Red Sea.
