Europe set to open higher after BoE, Fed moves

Stock indexes in Europe posted premarket gains on Monday as investors assessed the recent decision by both the Bank of England and the United States Federal Reserve to reduce their key interest rates by 25 basis points. Further, the spotlight was on Donald Trump's reelection as the President of the United States last week.
The DAX increased by 0.51% at 8:00 am CET. At the same time, the FTSE 100 added 0.12%. The CAC 40 improved by 0.51% while the Euro Stoxx 50 jumped by 0.56%.
At 7:59 am CET, the euro was flat against the dollar, selling for 1.07202. At the same time, the pound sterling was also flat against the greenback, selling for 1.29167.
