United States Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said on Sunday that the US administration's tariffs will remain in place despite the Court of International Trade's decision to block them.

"Rest assured, tariffs are not going away," Lutnick told Fox News, and added that the administration will take the ruling up to higher courts, insisting that President Donald Trump "is going to win, like he always does."

In addition, the secretary ensured that legal uncertainty around tariffs will not have an important impact on negotiations with the European Union and other countries. "All of the countries that are negotiating with us understand the power of Donald Trump and his ability to protect the American worker," he pointed out.
