Europe higher premarket ahead of key data

Major European indexes traded in the green in the premarket hours on Tuesday as investors braced for fresh economic data from across the continent. Namely, new inflation figures from the Eurozone and Switzerland, as well as unemployment data from Spain, Italy, and the euro area, are set to be released after the markets open.

The DAX added 0.33%, and the FTSE 100 improved by 0.23% at 8:00 am CET. At the same time, the CAC 40 advanced by 0.37%, while the Euro Stoxx 50 gained 0.28%.

On the currency front, the euro traded 0.17% lower against the dollar to go for $1.14221 at 7:59 am CET. Simultaneously, the pound lost 0.15% compared to the greenback, selling for $1.35242.
