Europe eyes higher open as US court blocks levies

European indexes rose in premarket trading on Thursday after the US Court of International Trade said Trump exceeded "any authority granted" by the International Emergency Economic Powers Act in imposing the import levies and blocked his worldwide "reciprocal" tariffs.
The pan-European Euro Stoxx 50 climbed 1.17% at 8:00 am CET, the DAX jumped 0.91% or 218 points, the CAC 40 rose 0.79% and the FTSE 100 increased by 0.68% at the same time.
The euro lost 0.42% against the dollar to go for 1.12464 at 8:00 am CET and the pound declined 0.28% compared to the greenback, selling for 1.34331 at the same time.
