Erdogan discuss Syria developments with VDL, Meloni
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone call with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on Tuesday to discuss the latest developments in Syria, Erdogan's office said.
The Turkish head of state told the EC chief that the process of the voluntary return of Syrian people has already been planned, adding that acceleration of Syria's reconstruction will speed up returns.
In addition, Erdogan addressed regional and global issues in a phone call with Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni and slammed Israel over its continued "aggression" in Syria, pointing out that the latest attacks do not contribute to Syri's stability.
