Apple Inc. announced on Wednesday its new MacBook Pro laptop, powered by the M4 family of chips, including the more powerful M4 Pro and M4 Max, which will be available with a minimum of 16 gigabytes of memory.

The company claimed that the new laptop powered by an M4 chip is up to 1.8x faster than the version with the M1 chips when editing gigapixel photos and up to 3.4x quicker when rendering complex scenes in Blender. The new MacBook Pro is built for Apple Intelligence, and the M4 Pro and M4 Max versions offer Thunderbolt 5 port.

"With the powerful M4 family of chips, and packed with pro features like Thunderbolt 5, an advanced 12MP Center Stage camera, an all-new nano-texture display option, and Apple Intelligence, the new MacBook Pro continues to be, by far, the world's best pro laptop," Apple's senior vice president of Hardware Engineering, John Ternus, stated.
