Apple Inc. announced Tuesday that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will take place from June 9 to June 13.

The mostly online event will spotlight updates to the software behind its core devices, including iPhones and iPads.

Selected developers and students will be invited to attend the opening day in person at Apple Park. Investors closely watch WWDC, as new features revealed during the conference often hint at product strategy.
