Apple Inc. is planning to alter its traditional iPhone launch schedule from 2026 and roll out new models in an effort to maintain momentum in a competitive smartphone market, The Information reported on Saturday, citing sources familiar with the matter.

Under the new approach, the premium iPhone 18 Pro models will debut in the fall, as per tradition, while the standard iPhone 18 models will be delayed until the spring. If proven true, the move would mark a significant departure from Apple's usual all-at-once September unveilings.
