The fund’s aim is to exploit the return advantage of corporate bonds over government bonds, whereby fluctuations in the price of corporate bonds can be significantly higher than those in the price of government bonds. To achieve this aim, the fund primarily invests in corporate bonds. The average rating of the debt instruments (bonds and money market instruments) acquired for the fund is A-. A minimum of 50 per cent of the fund assets are invested in euro-denominated debt instruments. Investments may be made in debt instruments denominated in foreign currencies. They are hedged against exchange rate risks. Derivatives are used both for hedging purposes and as part of the investment strategy.
