iShares eb.rexx® Government Germany 5.5-10.5yr UCITS ETF (DE) (the "Fund") is a passively managed exchange traded fund (ETF) that aims to track the performance of the eb.rexx® Government Germany 5.5-10.5 (Total return index) as closely as possible. In this regard, it aims to replicate the benchmark (Index). The Index measures the performance of German government bonds traded on the Eurex Bonds® platform with a remaining time to maturity between 5.5 and 10.5 years. Only bonds denominated in Euros with a minimum amount outstanding of EUR 4 billion are included in the Index. The Index is rebalanced on a monthly basis and uses a market-value weighted methodology with the maximum weighting of any individual bond limited to 30%. In order to achieve its investment objective, the Fund mostly invests in interest-bearing securities that are mainly issued by government entities in Germany.
