Pakistani PM discusses Gaza, US-Iran talks
Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif, who is on an official state visit to Iran, commented on the war in Gaza and United States-Iran nuclear talks in an exclusive interview for IRNA on Monday.
Sharif thanked Iran for supporting Pakistan during the recent conflict with India. He emphasized that Pakistan has stood by Iran in what he calls a "catastrophic and genocidal war in Gaza," and that Tehran and Islamabad will continue to support each other on issues of the Muslim Ummah and regional disputes. He also commented on the ongoing talks between Iran and the US, noting that "negotiations, diplomacy and engagement are the best solutions."
Sharif expressed faith in Iranian leadership and gratitude for "Iran's effort to promote peace and stability in the region." He concluded the interview, saying that there can be no peace in the region until the questions of Kashmir and Palestine are resolved.
