Oracle allegedly pressured to complete OpenAI data center

Oracle Corporation is under pressure to finish the construction of a data center in Abilene, Texas, aimed for OpenAI Inc.'s use, The Information reported on Monday.

According to the allegations, the facility is, at the moment, still incomplete and lying empty. The center in supposed to be the size of 17 football fields.

Oracle and OpenAI previously agreed to participate in United States President Donald Trump-initiated project Stargate, aimed at strengthening the country's position in the artificial intelligence (AI) sector. The companies, along with SoftBank Group Corp., pledged to invest $500 billion in the endeavor over the next four years.
