The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) shared in the latest update on Saturday that nine Iranian scientists and experts, who were involved in advancing Tehran's "plan to obtain nuclear weapons," have been killed.

The Israeli military claimed that each individual who was eliminated "had decades of cumulative experience in the development of nuclear weapons."

IDF further said that with this move, Iran's ability to continue its work on creating nuclear armaments has been "significantly damaged."
